We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead, grow, and drive the strategic direction of our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) business within the country. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall business performance, market expansion, commercial leadership, operational excellence, and building high -performing teams within the fast -evolving renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute country -level business strategies aligned with the company’s global ESS roadmap.
Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape within the renewable energy and energy storage sectors.
Drive expansion into new segments such as utility -scale storage, commercial & industrial applications, and grid -support systems.
2. Commercial & Business Development
Lead sales, business development, and key account initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Build and strengthen relationships with EPCs, IPPs, utilities, government bodies, and strategic partners.
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract closures for ESS solutions and related services.
3. P&L and Operational Management
Oversee full P&L responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, expenditure control, and financial performance.
Ensure operational excellence in project execution, supply chain coordination, and customer delivery.
Implement performance KPIs to drive efficiency and service reliability.
4. Regulatory, Compliance & Market Engagement
Maintain up -to -date knowledge of national energy policies, regulatory frameworks, and incentive programs.
Represent the company in industry associations, regulatory discussions, and public forums.
Ensure compliance with local laws, safety standards, and company policies.
5. Team Leadership & People Development
Build, lead, and mentor a local team across sales, technical, operations, and support functions.
Foster a strong performance culture, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Identify talent gaps and lead hiring efforts for business expansion.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, or related fields; MBA is an advantage.
Experience
- 5 -10 years of experience in the ESS, renewable energy, solar, power systems, or electrical engineering industries.
- Proven track record in country leadership, business development, or P&L management.
- Strong understanding of ESS technologies (BESS, lithium -ion systems, hybrid solutions) and industry value chain.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in high -value technical sales.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute at both strategic and operational levels.
