Credit Officer (Unsecured Credit)

• Analyse and process Unsecured Financing and Credit Card applications with complete set of documentation and information obtain for new and existing customer application. 
• Ensure applications / AML alerts are processed within the stipulated turnaround time, achieving the KPI’s set and decision are in-line with the compliance and regulatory requirement. 
• Perform verification of applicant with relevant parties to ensure the genuineness of the applicant and employment details are established. 
• To investigate on the AML alert triggered for CDD or ODD or Watchlist via AML system for any element of suspicious or abnormalities of profile that may trigger red flag and provide recommendation for on-boarding or continuing of relationship. 
• To be alert in detecting and preventing any potential elements of fraud or fraud applications. 
• Follow-up of documents / information via RCSU or email with sales / branches / Group Compliance to support the credit application or AML findings. 
• To performed Verbal Acceptance task for Unsecured Financing. 
• To compute and update applicant’s income, Debt Service Ratio and other relevant variable accurately before performing the Centralized Retail Decision Engine (CRDE). 
• To evaluate, analyze and approve credit facilities within credit practices based on credit check findings and CCRIS conduct. 
• To perform CTOS, Interpol and AML Fuzzy name search and update the finding into RCSU or CAF system. 
• To perform UAT Testing, escalate and follow up in the event facing any system issues.
• Exercising individual discretionary authority accordance to approval granted by management and ensures quality and accuracy. 
• To undertake any other directives, duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management from time to time.
