Custom Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Liaison with government authorities / organization such as Custom, MIDA, MITI for various imports and exports application
• Accountable for preparation & submission on various report eg monthly LMW report, license renewal, annual report, sales tax report, etc
• Responsible for machinery & materials exemption application
• Coordinate with various departments internally and externally on custom & MITI application related issues
• To advise and ensure Company compliance & execution adhere to regulations
• Perform other job instructions assigned by superior from time to time

Job Responsibilities 

• Diploma / Certificate in Business Studies, Management or equivalent
• Minimum two years working experience in LMW manufacturing field
• Familiar with import & export flow, documentation, classification and license application procedure
• Knowledge in custom & shipping documentation ie Form K1, K2, K9 etc
• Hand on in LMW report preparation, license application etc.
• Competent in dealing with various authorities such as Custom, MIDA, MITI
• Self-discipline, self-driven and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Possess excellent interpersonal skill and computer literate
