In this exciting role, you'll be the go-to person for our shippers and carriers, ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions while providing excellent support. You'll learn the ins and outs of accounting in a global setting and develop valuable skills for your future career.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Making sure everything follows our main office's guidelines for how we handle accounting.

• Helping new delivery companies and customers get set up in our system.

• Managing important documents for payments in different countries across Asia.

• Keeping account information accurate in our systems, especially for new partners.

• Helping with our monthly invoicing process and fixing any mistakes.

• Making sure customer order details are correctly entered in our systems.

• Helping customers with payment questions and solving any issues they might have.

• Processing requests for credit notes (like refunds) for our partners.

• Checking daily and monthly that payments match our records.

• Making sure our monthly reports on money owed to us are correct.

• Sending out monthly account statements to customers, especially those who pay a bit late.

• Keeping an eye on and managing any issues with money owed to us by customers in Asia.

• Following up with customers to make sure we get paid on time.

• Helping manage payments related to freight costs for our customers.

• Supporting our yearly checks of our accounts by an outside company.

What We're Looking For:

• Excellent English skills (you'll be speaking and writing in English every day!).

• Good Mandarin Chinese skills (you'll be communicating with our Asia-Pacific customers).

• Basic computer skills (like using Word, Excel, email).

• A degree or studies in Accounting is a plus.

• Great people skills – you enjoy talking to and helping others.

• You're someone who takes initiative, can figure things out, and works well with a team.

• You're organized, responsible, and pay attention to the details.

• You're excited to learn and grow in a fast-paced, international company!
