Role Responsibilities:\n\n * Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment\n\n * Apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as company diagnostic tools and documentation, to solve complex equipment issues\n\n * Follow and generate documented procedures and published task plans\n\n * Communicate with customers and internal business units, lead projects as necessary\n\n * Train and mentor junior Field Service Engineers [Customer Engineers]\n\n * Fulfill additional duties, as assigned\n\n\n\n\n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Completion of an Associate degree or comparable military technical training and field service experience\n\n * 7-10 years of work experience in semiconductor industry or other equipment support industry\n\n * Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics\n\n * Strong knowledge of hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters\n\n * Advanced knowledge of wafer processing parameters\n\n * Effective written and verbal communication skills\n\n * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\n\n * Possession of a valid driver\u2019s license and the ability to obtain a passport, if travel is required.\n\n * Able to meet all on-site requirements, including safety, environmental guidelines, and COVID-19 protocols\n\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree\n\n * Project management skills and ability to lead key customer and internal product meetings\n\n\n\n\n \nPhysical Requirements: \nThis position often requires extensive walking, standing for extended periods of time, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, working at height, lifting up to 35 lbs., the ability to distinguish between colors and working with electricity, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
