Job Description

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions to protect the digital infrastructure, including networks, systems, and applications.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing effective remediation measures.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends, recommending proactive measures and technologies to strengthen the security posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into product design and development processes.
• Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, and incident response procedures.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a strong technical background in network security, system security, and application security.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience with secure coding practices, code review methodologies, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls) and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
