Cybersecurity Specialist (Entry level welcomed to apply / Up to 3.5k basic)

• Working Hours: Mon-Fri
• Salary Package: Up to $3.5k basic

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that vulnerabilities are promptly assessed, prioritized, and resolved. Your expertise in cybersecurity and meticulous attention to detail will contribute to maintaining the security posture of our clients' systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of the vulnerabilitiy program including receiving, assessing, and responding to vulnerability reports from external parties.
• Triage and Prioritization: Evaluate incoming vulnerability reports, prioritize based on severity and impact, and collaborate with relevant teams to facilitate resolution.
• Remediation Tracking: Manage inquiries, disputes, and remediation progress, escalate issues as necessary, and maintain accurate records in JIRA.
• Retesting Coordination: Coordinate retesting efforts with researchers, conduct thorough retests, and ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of reported vulnerabilities, assessments, and remediation actions
• Trend Analysis: Identify trends in vulnerability reports, propose adjustments to program policies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong passion in cybersecurity field; and possess knowledge in cybersecurity.
• Experienced JIRA or similar tracking tools.
• Certification in OSCP or Burp Suite Certified Practitioner is an added advantage
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
