Data Analyst - Onboarding & Distribution

About the Role

Are you passionate about data, problem-solving, and the automotive industry?

We're looking for a Data Analyst – Onboarding & Distribution to join our team at TecAlliance. In this role, you'll help transform, integrate, and maintain customer product data in accordance with the TecDoc Data Standard, ensuring high-quality data processing and seamless onboarding for customers across the global automotive aftermarket.

Working closely with our Sales, Product, and Data teams, you'll play an important role in delivering reliable data solutions while continuously improving data quality and operational efficiency.

Please note: This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and we are currently seeking candidates who are based in Malaysia and have the legal right to work in Malaysia.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage customer-specific data processing in accordance with TecDoc data standards.

• Analyse customer requirements and deliver tailored data solutions together with the Sales Team.

• Transform and integrate customer data using SQL, Python, ETL tools, and TecDoc Maintenance Tools.

• Create customer-specific analyses, reports, and data visualisations.

• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, and production efficiency.

• Provide 3rd-level technical support for customer-specific data requirements.

• Document processes, implementations, and technical solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and project delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, data transformation, or data integration.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.

• Experience with ETL tools and data transformation processes.

• Experience analysing customer requirements and implementing technical solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Mandarin proficiency is required to support cross-regional collaboration.

• Experience in the Independent Automotive Aftermarket (IAM) or TecDoc environment is an advantage.

• Currently based in Malaysia with the legal right to work in Malaysia.
