We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Data Governance Manager to join our Global IT team.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing and embedding the governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls that protect Nufarm's data assets and improve trust in data across the enterprise. Working closely with business, technology, risk, legal, and privacy stakeholders, you will ensure data is classified, managed, retained, accessed, and protected in alignment with regulatory requirements, cyber security obligations, and business objectives.

How You'll Help Us Grow
Enterprise Data Governance
- Lead the development and implementation of Nufarm's enterprise data governance framework, including policies, standards, roles, responsibilities, and control requirements.
- Establish governance requirements for data classification, retention, access management, handling, sharing, and disposal across structured and unstructured data environments.
- Drive governance maturity across the organisation through practical frameworks, controls, and accountability mechanisms.
Data Protection & Compliance
- Ensure data governance requirements align with cyber security, privacy, records management, and regulatory obligations.
- Support audit, compliance, risk assessment, and risk treatment activities relating to information governance and protection.
- Develop governance controls that strengthen data security, compliance, accountability, and transparency.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Partner with business owners, data stewards, privacy, legal, risk, and technology teams to define ownership and accountability for critical data assets.
- Facilitate the integration of governance practices into operational and technology processes.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on governance obligations, controls, and best practices.
Data Management & Governance Capabilities
- Drive implementation of capabilities that support:
- Metadata management
- Data lineage
- Data quality management
- Governance reporting
- Data lifecycle management
- Improve visibility, traceability, and trust in enterprise data.
Governance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor governance maturity, policy adoption, control effectiveness, exceptions, and remediation activities.
- Provide clear reporting and insights to leadership on governance risks, trends, compliance status, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the effective selection and utilisation of governance platforms, tools, and reporting solutions.
Awareness & Capability Building
- Promote a strong data governance culture across the organisation.
- Deliver stakeholder engagement, training, and practical guidance to support sustainable adoption of governance practices.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance governance effectiveness and data stewardship.

What You'll Bring
Essential
- Proven experience in cyber security, information security, data governance, or information management.
- Demonstrated experience leading governance, risk, classification, protection, or compliance initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or industry certification in:
- Cyber Security
- Information Technology
- Information Management
- Privacy
- Risk Management
- Governance
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business, technical, and leadership audiences.
- Experience developing governance policies, standards, controls, and oversight mechanisms.

- Ability to translate regulatory, policy, and business requirements into practical governance controls and operational processes.
- Experience working across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
