Data Management Administrator (Data Analyst Expert) - Urgent Hiring

Job Purpose

• Maintains and manages the research data held by the company, including data administration and database modelling
• Acts as a subject matter expert in software development, including ownership of software related quality procedures
• Server administration of production environment for released products
• Acts as subject matter expert for software and data aspects of all projects carried out by the company
• Engages in development of tools and prototypes for the different projects
• Support the dissemination and exploitation of the results, support patent and paper writing and documentation of the tools for regulatory filings
• Keeping up to date on the developments and trends in database management.

Job Accountability

• Responsible for database design by developing database structures & features, implementation, and administration in particular for research data.
• Acts as a subject matter expert, leading the development and improvement of software related quality procedures (with input from external consultants)
• Provides expert knowledge for software development oversight.
• Manages administration of production environments for released products, takes responsibility for production servers such as database maintenance, migration, upgrading hardware and software.
• Manages data backups and accessibility by developing data security and restoration policies, procedures, and controls.
• Develops prototype tools including the basic design and their implementation in line with company requirements.
• Provides software input and expert knowledge for the different projects.
• Conducts all activities in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and company’s policies, SOPs and Project Plans.

Education:

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science/Programming or equivalent.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Database knowledge and proficiency in programming languages
• Experience with different operating systems.
