Defect Management Officer - Join a Leading Company

Job Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for property defects work, pre-handover inspection, and other handover procedures such as a collection of the owner or vacant units defect list and etc.
• Assist and resolve the Owner's problems/complaints and follow up their issue within the stipulated due date until the case is settled.
• Build a good rapport with owners in order to deliver efficient management services;
• To involve and arrange third-party contractor with unit defects rectification, prepare open tender, tender report, contract agreement in order to settle units defect issue.
• To submit the online application to inter-company to solve the owner's emergency defect problem
• Coordinate with the third party’s contractor such as Glass suppliers, Grouting and P.U injection and Subcontractor and etc.) to ensure the rectification defect works of the units and common areas of the property. (e.g; units, lobbies, facilities rooms, corridors, car parks, etc.);
• Attend to any emergencies matter that occurred in property and report to Superior/Manager immediately;
• Work closely with developer civil engineering, project teams - block supervisor, maintenance and technician team, and Security team to ensure the units and facilities of the building are well maintained;
• Prepare daily reports, weekly reports, and monthly reports or other documented reports in accordance with relevant rules and regulations such as defect reports or related documents and etc.;
• Prepare and participate in weekly meetings in order to report weekly work done and planning.
• To undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Superior/Manager from time to time.
• Work closely with Project Team, Maintenance Engineering Team, and Security Team to ensure the facilities of the building are well maintained.
• Assist in other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Superior/Manager from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Facility Management/ Engineering or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
• Candidates with relevant experience in Property Management / Real Estate industry will be added advantage.
• Proficient in speaking and writing in Mandarin and English (Mandarin speaker as required to deals with Mandarin-speaking owners/clients.
• Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills.
• 5.5 working days (work full day on alternative Saturday)
