Job Purpose
Responsible for preparing food items according to established recipes, procedures, and quality standards across Golfers Terrace, banquet, or other assigned kitchen outlets. Supports Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, and senior cooks in daily operations and may assume additional responsibilities in their absence to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and food consistency.
Job Responsibility
Demonstrates sound culinary skills and techniques, and is capable of instructing lower-level staff in basic cooking methods.
Possesses solid knowledge of the classification and characteristics of poultry, meat, fish, and shellfish.
Prepares food items according to standardized recipes using proper techniques and equipment, ensuring consistent quality and presentation as specified by the outlet or establishment.
Ensures all food products are cleaned and prepared in compliance with strict hygiene and sanitation standards.
Maintains proper handling and storage of perishable items to prevent wastage, spoilage, and loss.
Keeps the work area well-organized, clean, and orderly at all times. Ensures all assigned equipment is maintained in optimal working condition and understands its operational functions.
Conducts daily inspections and cleaning of storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers to uphold food safety and minimize spoilage.
