Job Description: Deputy Human Resource Manager

Position Overview: The Deputy Human Resource Manager plays a critical role in supporting the overall human resources function within an organization. This position assists the General Manager in planning, implementing, and managing human resources programs and policies. The Deputy HR Manager collaborates with various departments to ensure the effective administration of HR processes and contributes to the development and maintenance of a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the organization's overall goals.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager in strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition.

Employee Relations:

  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Foster positive employee relations by promoting effective communication and a positive work culture.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Support the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.
  • Contribute to the onboarding process to ensure new employees integrate seamlessly into the organization.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.

Training and Development:

  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
  • Support career development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

HR Compliance:

  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration:

  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics for management review.

Employee Engagement:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Seek feedback from employees and implement improvements based on survey results.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other departments to address HR-related issues and align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Communicate HR policies and initiatives effectively to employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven 8 to10 years of working experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and HR operations in heavy manufacturing industries.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred language : English, BM, Mandarin is a must.
