DESIGN ENGINEER

• Study customer drawing and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) proposal, if require.
• Attend discussion with customer and internal DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
• Create RFQ BOM, Process Drawing & Tool & Jigs design.
• Risk Management on prototyping feasible.
• Manage all Engineering documentation and records.
• Guide Production team on NPI, ECN and resolve any technical issues.
• Liaise with different department to achieve 100% on-time delivery for NPI and ECN.
• Brainstorm ideas/technology to improve the efficiency and continually of manufacturing processes.
• Any other duties assigned by Superior.

Requirements:

• Must posses at least Engineering Diploma (Mechanical or Mechatronics) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in Metal Fabrication or similar experience, & Experience and knowledgeable in Optic Laser Cutting, Press Brake & Secondary processes.
• Good analytical and project management skills.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Office & EPICOR system.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
• Ability to work independently with a high level of motivation and communication at all levels.
• Problem solving, negotiation and communication skills and able to work under pressure.
• Possess valid driving license with own transport & willing to travel oversea, if require.
