Design Engineering Manager - Growth-Minded Organization

Job Responsibilities: 

• Ensure that all designs and molds meet or exceed client requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations.
• Implement best practices for design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead project teams in the development and execution of design and molding projects.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, including designers, molders, engineers, and technicians.
• Provide leadership, guidance, support, and mentor-ship to team members to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies as needed.
• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to design and manufacturing processes, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Train, and mentor a high-performing team of design engineers.

Requirement: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing design engineering teams and projects.
• Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of engineers
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
