Design Manager / Piping Engineer

• Responsible for preparing calculations and designing shop drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D based on construction drawings provided by clients for infrastructure waterworks. This includes tasks such as pipe laying using methods like pipe jacking, manual jacking, open cut, and zingker methodology.
  
• Testing and commissioning, as well as related activities such as caisson and sheet pile pit construction for jacking and receiving pits.
  
• Responsible for submitting shop drawings according to the scheduled timeline.
  
• Responsible for obtaining approval for shop drawings according to the schedule.
  
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining all drawings in a systematic and orderly manner.
  
• Responsible for managing and providing the team with the latest updates and drawings.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  
• At least 5 years of experience in design and piping engineering, particularly in infrastructure waterworks.
  
• Proven experience in working with construction drawings for waterworks projects.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for creating design calculations and shop drawings.
  
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes for piping design and construction.
  
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team.
  
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  
• Strong command of English (both written and verbal) to communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders. (Proficiency in other languages may be beneficial)
