Desktop Support Analyst - Urgent Position

An opportunity exists for Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Kuantan plant. We are looking for candidate with experience in maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware in a network environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues, including PCs and peripherals in a networked environment.
• Responsible in maximizing Lynas staff productivity by ensuring that their desktop/laptop environment is operating efficiently and that their IT queries are answered.
• Responsible in the installation of LANs and terminal devices, and document local plant configuration changes
• Ensure that the team responds to support requests in a timely manner, investigating ways of improving efficiency to reduce calls, and ensuring that software updates and security patches are applied in a timely manner.

Requirements of the successful candidate:

• Degree qualified in IT and related field with 3 years' experience in desktop support.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware & software in a network environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.
