Critical role in ensuring the timely and secure collection, transportation, and delivery of laboratory specimens, reports, medical supplies, and other essential items in a timely and efficient manner. This role ensures that all logistical tasks related to dispatching are carried out with accuracy and professionalism to support the smooth operation of laboratory services by maintaining efficient logistics, contributing to patient care and satisfaction.

Specimen Handling and Delivery:

• Collect and deliver specimens, reports, and supplies to/from clients promptly and safely, adhering to transportation procedures.
• Ensure specimens are sent to the correct external labs or companies as required.

Administrative Support:

• Ensure all daily rounds are completed, and clients’ requests for laboratory supplies (e.g., collection containers, syringes) are fulfilled.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, specimen receipt, and results dispatched to clients.
• Verify completeness of request forms, including patient details and doctor’s signatures.

Customer Service:

• Respond promptly to client inquiries and on-call duties.
• Promote patient and family rights, good customer service, and collect feedback as required.

Quality and Compliance:

• Adhere to integrated management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) and accreditation standards (MSQH/JCI/ISO 15189).
• Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.

General Duties:

• Participate in training to upgrade skills and ensure competency.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and monitor stock levels (e.g., stationery, lab supplies).
• Support new services introduced by the department and assist during emergencies.

Safety and Health:

• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
• Prevent or control pollution and manage waste discharge in line with environmental regulations.
