We are looking for an experienced and technically strong DevSecOps Engineer to join our client’s project and play a crucial role that architects and implements secure DevOps practices across their organization. 

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Implement DevSecOps tools (GIT, SAST, DAST, supply chain security, dependency scanning) and enhance security procedures using Python and Golang for better efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate security measures into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct security assessments to identify and address weaknesses
• Provide expertise and advice on the most effective application security methods and aid in enforcing secure coding guidelines

Key Skills and Attributes for Success

• Degree in Information Technology related finance discipline
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps practices, including the implementation and management of DevSecOps tools such as GIT, SAST, DAST, supply chain security, and dependency scanning solutions.
• Extensive experience in safeguarding software supply chains, ensuring the authenticity and safety of dependencies and components during the development process
• Proficient in Python and Go Lang programming languages, with expertise in automation and scripting
• Thorough understanding of application security principles, prevalent vulnerabilities, and secure coding methodologies.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (such as Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (like AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial
