We are desiring to recruit a focused Digital Marketing Executive to join our stellar team at TGV CINEMAS SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Summary of the role:

Focus on content creation,  delivering high-quality content that resonates with the target audience. Gain a deep understanding of the platform audience by analysing their behaviors, preferences, and trends to effectively engage with them. This includes identifying the best timing, tone, and manner for posts to maximize engagement and reach. Staying proactive in monitoring and maintaining the social media/email channels, taking action on spam, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring to life – engaging social media / email campaigns that align with the larger digital marketing campaign and channel objectives, capturing the attention and interest of the audience.
  • Create and share captivating, high-quality content that deeply resonates with the target audience, delivering valuable and meaningful experiences.
  • Build connections with relevant communities and influencers, collaborating to foster engagement, raise brand awareness, and create a buzz around TGV.
  • Building and nurturing a loyal and supportive community of followers, actively engaging with them, listening to their feedback, and encouraging their creativity through user-generated content.
  • Leverage on data and insights to measure audience engagement, uncover areas for improvement, and fine-tune content strategies accordingly.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices, constantly exploring fresh ideas and approaches to enhance the strategy and keep it dynamic and relevant.

 

Principal Accountabiliies:

Strategic and Tactical

  • Evaluate and analyze content engagement rates (incl. followers, reach, impressions, etc), anticipate future trends, and demand, and fine-tune future content for improvement.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

Operational

  • Channel Management: Content creation, overall management and reporting of the assigned channel, which includes:
  • creating and publishing high-quality content that resonates with our target audiences. 
  • timely and consistent in the execution of postings/campaigns engage with current and other communities within the channel to increase presence, and drive engagement and conversions through assigned channels.
  • Highlighting/taking action on customer queries promptly
  • keeping up to date on the latest strategies/trends
  • Know Your Channel Audience: Understanding and reporting on audience/influencer behaviors – when to post/publish, tone and manner, the best way to engage. 

Industry

  • Keeping up to date on the latest strategies/trends, technology, and best practices to improve turnaround time and evolve the company's visual style and messaging.

People

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, IT, and finance, to deliver goals and objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • Fresh graduate or with minimal 1 year working experience 
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Experience in Canva and other similar designing/editor tools
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and advertising (is a bonus).
  • Creativity to develop innovative and engaging content.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to keep up with trends and best practices while maintaining consistency with brand values.
  • Customer service orientated to provide prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to measure the success of content and campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Positive attitude to handle criticism constructively and connect with the audience in a lighthearted way while staying professional.
