Job Summary:

The Director of Production Quality is responsible for overseeing and driving product quality across production operations. This role ensures continuous improvement through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and standardized processes to deliver high-quality products and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead production quality performance and drive continuous improvement across operations.


• Analyze internal and external quality data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).


• Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, and process controls.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and enhance processes.


• Manage new product site transfer process and new product introduction, collaborate with cross-function team to secure the new product quality.


• Manage customer quality issues, audits, and RMA feedback to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.


• Oversee supplier quality, incoming quality control (IQC), and equipment calibration compliance.


• Monitor field product quality and drive global feedback into improvement actions.


• Lead, develop, and manage the quality team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field; Diploma holders with relevant experience and proven capability may be considered if they meet job expectations.


• Preferable around 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production quality, with around 5 years in a leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of quality systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).


• Proven experience in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and continuous improvement.


• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


• Strong understanding of supplier quality management and incoming quality control processes.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing customer relationships and audits.


• Experience in server, electronics, or related industries is a plus.


• Ability to lead teams globally and work effectively with international stakeholders.
