Drafter & Site Engineer (Solar Energy Industry)

We are looking for an experienced Solar PV Drafter & Site Engineer to be part of our team. The candidate would have to be accountable and able to work independently to achieve our project delivery targets. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage commercial or residential Solar PV projects installation and maintenance, to meet with financial budgeted.
• Liaison with clients, contractors, internal parties, local authorities and suppliers related to Solar projects.
• Produce, sketch and design for project drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp or other mandatory software, according to the specifications.
• To learn and manipulate the Solar system software simulation to obtain the analysis result for project purpose.
• Attend site monitoring work.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Sourcing the correct products specification and segregate the materials for the project application purpose.
• Support sales team in graphic design, sales visit and presentation.
• Provide product and technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and provide documentations for project purpose. 
• Ability to deliver high quality, efficiency and sustainability projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
• Any ad hoc tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in executing Solar PV installation projects.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and SketchUp for project drawing design.
• Proactive and able to develop relationships with customers and inspire confidence in the Company and its products and services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
