E-Business Officer - Fast Hire

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up with account opening leads to acquire and on-board new clients.
• Service existing clients to activate re-activate and/or encourage trading.
• Provide dealing and execution of trades for local and foreign retail equities broking business.
• Review and monitor settlements of outstanding contracts for own clients.
• Participate in various events, roadshows and other marketing activities.
• Monitor and execute force selling of shares for retail clients under principal branch.
• Perform daily health check for various markets.
• Perform comprehensive tests for all trading platform enhancements and system fixes being rolled out to ensure production deployments will not cause any risk of disruption.
• Train internal users / teams on new markets, products and features whenever required.
• Handle helpdesk/customer support calls with professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Monitor and respond to enquiries and technical issues from various customer support channels.
• Escalate technical issues to relevant parties and follow through until issues are rectified.
• Prepare reports and analysis as and when required.
• Work night shift on roster basis to support US night markets.
• Undertake other assignments and tasks from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Banking and Finance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in stockbroking or investment banking.
• Successful candidate is required to pass Module 6 and Module 7 for Equities and Module 14 and 16 for Derivatives and apply for Dealer’s Representative and Futures Broker’s Representative licenses from SC.
• Proactive, fast-learner with strong sense of responsibility, resourceful and great at multitasking.
• Have empathetic, service-orientated professional attitude and personality.
• Experience working with customer support preferred. Ability to provide professional customer support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work as a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Malay. Ability to speak and read mandarin is an added advantage.
