We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam\u0027s business.\n\n \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAt Lam, as an EH\u0026S Engineer, you\u0027re instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you\u0027ll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, and oversee hazardous waste vendors and processes. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial health compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you\u0027ll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam\u0027s commitment to safety and environmental compliance.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Lead the construction safety, commissioning for greenfield or expansion or upgrading of plant \n * Oversee the development, planning and implementation of EHS policies and procedures from construction to sustaining operations align with Lam EHS requirement \n * Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS requirements and handles interactions with DOE, DOSH, Fire Service Department and all other applicable agencies.\n * Ensure EHS training programs for employees in areas such as, ergonomics, hazardous material handling, fall protection, control of hazardous energies, emergency response, and other identified compliance training needs. Conduct EHS training for employees and contractors as per the EHS training needs\n * Conduct proactive EHS risk assessment reviews and ensures appropriate corrective actions are taken to mitigate identified risks for manufacturing and logistic activities \n * Audit Construction site , commissining activities and sustenance activities to ensure the activities conducted is complying with EHS corporate and local legal requirement. \n * Provides governance by conducting routine EHS compliance inspections, EHS audits, incident investigations and final closure\n * Submit regulatory reports in a timely manner\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Qualification:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree or equivalent in Science or Engineering required\n\nEHS Certification\n\n * Competent Person in Scheduled Waste and registered with DOE preferred\n * SHO certification registration with DOSH \n\nExperience:\n\n * 10-15 years of working experience in EHS field in manufacturing including managing warehouse \n * Experience in new start-up company, Contractors Safety, Warehouse Safety \n * Well verse with Hazardous Energy Control, Equipment Safety, Material Handling Equipment Safety, Ergonomic Risk Assessment and Controls \n\nSkills:\n\n * Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to motivate, influence, coach and drive results\n * Ability to apply EHS standards and regulatory knowledge to business decisions \n * Ability to lead a cross-functional teams to meet EHS objectives and accident free workplace \n * Strong computer literacy skills including mastery knowledge of Microsoft suite (excel, word, power-point) skills;\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and drive message on complex content, in front of peers\n * Strong computer literacy skills including excel, word, power point skills \n\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n
