Electrical Engineer - Hiring Now

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all electrical facilities in the plant in working order.
2. Upkeep, improve and troubleshooting the plant control systems in relation to electrical equipment and PLC.
3. Coordinate activities with Purchasing, maintenance and QA to obtain optimum production and utilization of manpower, tools and equipment.
4. Prepare periodic and special report concerning departmental activities, achievements, problems, project schedules and productions indices/figures.
5. Confer with departmental head to formulate programs regarding availability of materials, maintenance of plant, equipment and physical structure, product quality control, labor material cost and equipment depreciation to ensure optimization of operating cost and maintained at budgeted level.
6. Assign duties to subordinates, guides and assist subordinates in overcoming difficulties and keeping performance/skill records of subordinates under his care and prepare training for new recruits.
7. Plan, monitor and coordinate the repairing and maintenance activities of the machines under his care in accordance with operating requirements and engineering principles.
8. Consult with relevant department (internal & external) concerning equipment and process to assure productivity, safety and quality of products.
9. Modify and design jigs and fixtures, equipment, manufacturing processes for the purpose of improving and upgrading of operations.
10. Plan, develop and evaluate (trials & testing) of equipment materials, tooling and manufacturing process/system to ensure compliance to specification.
11. Arrange approval for expenditure.
12. Direct, coordinate and monitor installation and construction activities to ensure conformance of specification.
13. Undertake other duties assigned by superior.
14. Ensure compliance with statutory requirement pertaining to electrical power and installation, and other relevant by law for effective implementation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical or its equivalent.
2. Minimum 2-3 years working experience in the manufacturing industry.
3. Knowledge of PLC would be an added advantage.
4. Self-motivated and able to work long hours upon request.
