Electrical Project Manager (TNB Substation Project) - Rewarding Work

EITA Resources Berhad acquired a 60% stake in TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC) on 2016. TSC is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking a Electrical Project Manager to join our project team. You will be responsible for the project management and execution works at site are in accordance to technical specification to ensure TNB schedule within the timeline.

What will you be doing?

• Set up and maintain project management plans, resource allocation, contract deliverables, and management processes.
• Oversee AQ/QC management, perform on-site quality control, and monitor work progress.
• Manage construction material production facilities, plant and procurement schedules, supplies, stockpiles, and warehousing.
• Coordinate project interfaces, documents, and correspondence.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and oversee detailed design and construction phases.
• Possess familiarity with international design codes and fulfill requirements and obligations under FIDIC (or similar) contract conditions.
• Implement, coordinate, and execute Transmission Substation and Underground Cable projects for TNB.
• Submit equipment documents for approval, coordinate manufacturing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and delivery.
• Prepare monthly project progress reports, develop site work method statements, attend monthly progress meetings.
• Provide site coordination and supervision during installation, testing, and commissioning. 

Are you the one?

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.          
• At least 5 years of working experience in transmission and distribution substation and underground cables Project.
• Prior experience in TNB/SEB substation projects will be an added advantage.         
• Renewable contract based on business needs and performance.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel in West Malaysia.                               
• Required language: Bahasa Malaysia & English.
