ELLE Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on product development and merchandising processes for the handbags category, including range planning, pricing, and product launches
• Manage the design and production process from ideation to final product
• Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences
• Work closely with suppliers and factories to ensure timely and high-quality production
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stores are stocked with the right types and quantities of products to optimize sales and profitability, especially for bestsellers
• Oversee visual merchandising (VM) for retail counters, ensuring consistent brand image and effective product presentation
• Plan and coordinate the setup of POP-UPs and new store openings, including layout, display setup, and product presentation
• Support the marketing communications (MARCOM) team by assisting with artwork development for promotional materials such as POP cards, banners, and other point-of-sale displays
• Liaise with factories to obtain bulk product photos and accurate descriptions for e-commerce listings
• Provide sales support during sales events to ensure smooth operations and maximize sales performance

Key Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in fashion, accessories, or retail merchandising
• Proven experience in handbag design or product development preferred
• Strong aesthetic sense and creativity in product design
• Practical experience using Illustrator, Photoshop, and other business software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work independently
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
