Energy Manager

• Formulate and execute energy efficiency strategies in line with mall and office operational needs.
  
• Establish annual energy reduction targets and sustainability objectives.
  

• Track real -time energy usage using BMS and smart meters.
  
• Assess trends and pinpoint inefficiencies in HVAC, lighting, and escalator systems.
  

• Review TNB tariff options to recommend the most cost -effective plans.
  
• Apply load -shifting and demand -side management initiatives to reduce energy costs.
  

• Oversee energy -saving retrofit projects, such as LED lighting upgrades and chiller replacements.
  
• Manage solar PV feasibility assessments and coordinate installation projects.
  

• Maintain compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements and relevant local regulations.
  
• Produce monthly energy performance reports and support ESC disclosure requirements.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related fields.
  
• Professional certification in energy management.
  
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in energy management.
  
• Solid understanding of building systems and energy management systems (EMS).
  
• Knowledge of local regulatory standards, green building certification (e.g., GBI, LEED, GreenRE).
  
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in energy modeling software and data analytics tools.
