ENGINEER / SENIOR ENGINEER - PROJECT (HIGH RISE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION)

Responsibilities

• To ensure that planning, programming and monitoring of construction work progress are timely delivered and within budget.
• To arrange with the Machinery Department for mobilization or service and repair of machinery, equipment or plants at the site and other facilities and utilities.
• To Liaise with the Safety Department for implementation and maintain safety requirements at the site.
• To supervise and monitor the sub-contractor’s progress work at the site.
• Liaise with the Purchasing Department for purchasing of building materials at the site.
• Arrange and conduct sub-contractor meetings and attend other technical interface meetings with clients and consultants.
• Review structural drawings. Prepare and submit Request for Information (RFI) to consultant for inspection.
• To verify the approved method statement or work instructions submitted by the specialist contractors or sub-contractors.
• Ensure timely submission/accuracy of shop drawings and follow-up preparation of As-Built Drawings and material samples submission at the site.
• Carry out quality inspection for work done by sub-contractors at the site and maintain records.
• Ensure corrective actions arising from customer complaints and non-conformance are implemented within the stated time frame.
• To ensure that all construction activities meet quality standards and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.

Requirement:

• Min. 3 years’ experience in the Construction Industry.
• Must have experience in handling high-rise projects (Construction).
• Must be able to be based on site
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
