Engineering Assistant Manager - Urgent Role

Responsibilities

• Leading Engineering department (PE,ME)  in Malaysia plant.
• Responsible for new product development plans, involves the introduction and production of new products, trial production arrangements, production guidance, analysis and elimination of on-site abnormal problems, improvement of production processes, and improvement of product performance and structure.
• Cross-department coordination to ensure efficient and effective communication on products development projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including R&D, design, and manufacturing teams, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
• Ensure smooth operation and optimization of production systems. This includes responsible on production line maintenance, instrument and equipment repair and maintenance, production system design optimization and maintenance, production capacity calculation and planning.
• Required participates in process improvement and technical management of production lines.
• Responsible in product design and implementation of product manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and provide effective solutions.
• Monitor service performance, analyze customer feedback, and implement improvements to enhance service quality.

Requirements:

• Candidate MUST possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering(Electronics) or equivalent.
• Experienced in Medical Device Industry will be great advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ management or relevant experiences are preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Good oral and written skills in English and Bahasa Mandarin.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485
