Our client is an established well-funded CryptoExchange in Asia which is dedicated to building a world-class trading platform. Their mission is to revolutionize trading systems by leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. They are looking for a new Engineering Director;

Key Responsibilities

Architect and Build: Design and establish a high-frequency trading system, including market data handling, trading engine, order management, and risk control modules.

Market Connectivity: Develop seamless connections with diverse trading gateways and exchanges, both domestically and internationally.

Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members to gather business requirements and continuously optimize system functionality to enhance performance.

Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on innovation and excellence in trading technology.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: Over 10 years of R&D and management experience in technology-driven environments, preferably within Crypto/Blockchain industries. Min 5 years of leadership experiences, managing sizable teams

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in performance monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., trace, log, metric, flame graph) with a deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and database systems.

Analytical Skills: Strong knowledge of data structures, excellent logical thinking, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

Financial Acumen: Familiarity with trading systems, blockchain technology, and financial markets is highly desirable.
