Job Description:

Engineering Officer – Civil Engineering (Building Maintenance)

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the execution of reactive and preventive maintenance activities for building Maintenance.


• Monitor the productivity of maintenance staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards.


• Oversee the movement of job tickets, closely monitor CNF (Completion Notification) and TECO (Technical Completion) in the SAP system.


• Conduct troubleshooting, report defects, and propose effective repair solutions.


• Attend morning briefings and meetings with users and contractors, fostering effective communication and collaboration.


• Plan and coordinate projects related to building repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.


• Prepare budgetary estimates for users, considering the financial aspects of maintenance projects.


• Ensure that all repairs or new projects follow the management of change process and comply with uniform building bylaws.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field or Two years or more of experience in a supervisory role within building maintenance, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills. Proven ability to effectively manage and lead maintenance teams to achieve project goals and meet established standards.


• Proven experience in building maintenance and project coordination.


• Familiarity with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose effective repair solutions.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with users and contractors.


• Project management experience, including budget preparation and cost control.


• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially in compliance with uniform building bylaws.


• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment and Ability to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating resilience and maintaining composure in challenging situations.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD system for drafting and simple design tasks.


• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings to facilitate maintenance and repair projects effectively.


• Must be willing to be based at Resorts World Genting, Pahang.
