SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Record call details (date, time, extension, caller name, and purpose) accurately. Check and ensure telephone lines are functioning daily; report faults immediately to HES Services.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1.To respond to all calls and direct them to the correct extension with politeness and courtesy.
2.To ensure proper recording of messages from staff, customers and doctors. Record it in telephone operator messages book to ensure efficient passing over to next shift.
3.Daily checking of the PA System
4.Emergency codes announcement
5.Facilitate CCX in patient engagement activities.
6.Attend meetings held by the services to discuss issues and matters pertaining to the operation of the service.
7.To participate in any events/ activities as and when required by the Head of CCX and Management from time to time
8.To project a professional image and grooming while performing daily duties.
9.To carry out any duties as and when required by the HOS or The Management.
10.Other Duties.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Possess academic qualification of SPM
Able to converse fluently and write in English language and Bahasa Malaysia.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
On the job training/in-service training will be provided.
Experience working as a receptionist, customer service / hotel / healthcare is an advantage.
Willingness to work on scheduled hours, shift, and weekends, public holidays and anytime when called during emergency.
