Event Executive - Excellent Benefits Package

The Job

• Assist the Head of Corporate Communications in planning, development and execution of communication events and corporate exhibitions to promote MGTC products and services.
• Event Planning – Creating, managing and overseeing tasks, budgets and timelines for each project to successfully execute it from start to finish.
• Client Management – Liaise with clients on expectations, updates, deliverables, requirements and queries.
• Project Management and Coordination – Execute the event plan successfully, ensuring all deliverables are met. Step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
• Liaise with teams (internal and external) for various tasks, documentation, permissions, design, collateral, venues, props, staffing and logistics.
• Managing event quality control and on-time delivery
• Analyze  the event’s success and action key learnings.
• Continuously improve internal systems and processes.
• Facilitate sessions when needed.
• Conceptualization – Assist in designing and testing new games and concepts.

The Person 

• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years related working experience in event management or the media industry with a strong media network and a good understanding of media relations work.
• Skilled in project management
• Strong journalistic sense, identifying opportunities to build the MGTC brand.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communications skills.
