EVENTS AV SPECIALIST - Start Immediately

THE JOB:

• To provide technical support during event set up and technical supervision. 
• Able to provide installation, maintenance and repair of all technical equipment such as LED’s, microphones, lighting, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, etc. 
• Assess equipment needs for each event and ensuring all equipment’s are in working order
• Cooperate and communicate effectively  with event project managers, vendors and venue staff to ensure requirements, deadlines, and expectations are met for set up and tear down/dismantle.
• Provide strategic recommendations on cost savings and technical efficiency related to audio-visual, connectivity and other needs. 
• Plans and organises event technical staffing, coordinates and supervises external technical crew. 
• To involve in pre-event preparation tasks such as packing of event equipment, arrangement of equipment logistic etc.
• To manage post-event tasks such as ensuring equipment back into original condition and all items are accounted for.
• Modify AV equipment including soldering, wiring, and cable works as and when needed.
• Asset tagging of AV equipment.
• To assist in relevant office daily routine tasks during non-event day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess excellent troubleshooting skills and phenomenal communication skills.
• SPM/ Professional Certificate/ Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent 
• At least two years working experience in the related field.
• Priority will be given to those with experience managing AV in live events.
• Good command of English and Malay would be an added advantage.
