Core Competency Requirements:
- Possession of an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) or a degree in Law, Architecture, Engineering, Education, or Property Development.
- Ideally, a background of studying abroad, preferably in the United Kingdom / USA, and from a prestigious institution.
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role with exposure to strategic planning. A minimum of 10 years of working experience is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to positively influence others to ensure timely project completion.
- Energetic, presentable, self-motivated, disciplined, and performance-driven. Must be able to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability in effective record-keeping, task/project management, follow-up, and timeline management with departments, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Effective organization skills, strong in communication, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Native proficiency is an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PDF, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare insightful summaries and data analysis to support executive-level decision-making.
- Compile meeting agendas, draft meeting minutes, official letters, board papers, and meeting presentation materials. Follow up on the action points from meetings on behalf of the Chairman.
- Assist the Chairman in implementing and completing departmental work plans. Coordinate and communicate with various departments and all levels of staff on matters directed by the Chairman.
- Monitor project progress and influence the managers and department heads to ensure accurate and timely task completion. Remind the Chairman of task deadlines to drive company progress.
- Plan and organize events, meetings, and conferences related to the projects and key tasks
- Anticipate challenges and proactively address issues to support the Chairman in decision-making. Collaborate with other executives and teams to resolve problems and ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to keep the Chairman well-informed.
- Assist in coordinating strategic planning activities, including the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Review the quality of work completed with the project team regularly to ensure it meets project standards.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding strategic discussions and decisions.
- Carry out special assignments, ad hoc functions, and related duties as directed by management.
