Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of bioscrubber and gas engine, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.

• Operate gas engine at optimum level to meet SEDA electricity quota.

• Monitor engine performance (kWh, load, grid injection, etc.) and keep within set limits.

• Stop operations during emergencies and report to management/HQ.

• Prepare weekly and monthly operation reports.

• Ensure equipment is well maintained; carry out preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.

• Plan and manage maintenance budgets and schedules.

• Support QOHSE implementation and compliance audits (DOE, DOSH, etc.).

• Maintain plant cleanliness and safety standards.

• Train and assess operators to improve competency.

• Ensure compliance with EMS 14001 and HSE practices.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• SPM or equivalent.

• Competency Certificate: Chargeman BO (issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience.
