Executive Chef - Join a Leading Company

Key Responsibilities:

• Showcase the quality and leadership of illy brand through your high-quality food standard and consistent work quality.
• Demonstrating integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote illy culture, values and mission.
• Overall accountable for P&L especially on COGS, fulfilment of targets in products innovations, SOPs for every product adhering to illy standard and food safety, cost reduction for all inventories and comply to policies of the company pertaining to food and beverage.
• Oversee selection of suppliers, negotiation and purchasing for cost control.
• Adhering to food and beverage costs in line with company’s goals.
• Ensuring and monitoring ingredients purchased, and final products are fresh.
• Develop and revamp recipes menu based on illy guidelines and creating the illy experience for all customers.
• Being responsible for quality assurance through consistent audit and provide structure feedback to all suppliers.
• Providing high-quality food products consistently for all customers by enforcing all recipe and presentation standards.
• Daily follow up on kitchen team to ensure food preparation sop are follow and comply to MOH requirement in food safety.
• Monitor waste management, improvise and use all ingredient the most effective way to drive efficiency of every SKU.
• Hold high respect to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Following illy operating policies and procedures for safety and security, to ensure the safety of all employees during each shift.
• Overseeing the maintenance of the stores for front of house and back of house, with regular spot checks with Operations Manager.
• Conduct investigations & prepare reports for incidents / feedback on products at our outlet and put-up recommendation.
• Developing positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.
• Providing support for the training of new employees by showing appreciation for good performance and coaching where necessary respectfully and constructively.
• Championing a training culture within the store team to ensure succession planning and a culture that exceeds the industry’s best.
• Monitor sales and provide routine/ monthly sales reports with recommendations for business reviews with management.
