Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a major role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

About the role

We are seeking an Account (Finance) Executive who will be supporting the day-to-day reimbursement processing for our business. 

The ideal candidate will have a mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity, especially in a start-up environment. You are passionate about learning new processes, keen to interact with multiple stakeholders, and take ownership for the work delivered.

This role is based in the Malaysia DA Office and reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Finance and supports the Singapore Finance Team.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payables duties and related reconciliations
• Collate data for regular (monthly etc.) billing to insurer/corporate customers by program
• Prepare payment to providers/members regular according to accepted policies/procedures
• Liaise and follow up with insurer and providers for any discrepancies in payment
• Engage proactively with internal stakeholders on daily operation and ensure that processes are performed according to the latest information
• Identify, discuss and suggest solutions to improve the TPA process
• Any other adhoc duties assigned when appropriate.

About you

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or other accounting qualification
• Required language(s): Bilingual (Must include English)
• Required skills: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
• Good work attitude, meticulous, independent, proactive, responsible, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do
• Comfortable with ambiguity - we're a fast-growing business and there are always unchartered territories, which is part of the fun. You should be comfortable with it and understand that not everything is 100% defined all the time
