Help Desk & IT Support (Information & Communication Technology)

Delivery of IT services and projects, continuous improvement and ensuring the adherence and awareness of cybersecurity for business operations of Standard Encoder (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. and its related companies. The incumbent is expected to collaborate with internal teams and service providers to ensure the service availability, performance, and security standards.

Job Descriptions:

• Collaborate with all functions within technology and digital team to define, design, implement, and support the business’ and Digital and Technology’s strategy roadmap.
• Implement technology & digital roadmap deliverables to establish, improve and grow the enterprise environment.
• Champion and drive continuous improvement within the technology and digital workspace.
• Custodian of IT processes and policies.
• Manage all IT Operational Projects, including commercial & tender processes, working with vendor, planning and executing the project to be delivered successfully within, time and scope.
• Enhance overall IT compliance and governance by means of quality assurance frameworks, processes and checkpoints.
• Develop, update and report quality of internal controls health check. Identify gaps related to IT risks, cybersecurity and compliance.
• Prepare internal controls’ compliance reports .
• Ensure compliance with and enhance the established risk management framework to identify, assess and mitigate risk across IT operations of Companies and entities.
• Preparation of security communications and alert.
• Point of contact for Security Operations Centre.
• Service Management - manage and report IT service desk performance.
• Critical situation management and reporting.
• Commercial and contract management.
• IT Shared Services, vendor performance and monitoring.
• Execute all tasks and initiatives related to customer satisfaction and customer centricity.

Job requirement :

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project Management skills and qualification desirable.
• Excellent communication skill is required for user assistance and efficient cross functional collaboration.
• Ability to communication effectively to all level of stakeholders from the operations to senior management.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn latest technology & digital landscape.
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when required
• Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in Mandarin would be an advantage – to communicate with China and Hong Kong stakeholder
