Executive, ITS Governance & Compliance - Continuous Learning Opportunities

To assist the IT Governance Senior Manager to oversee operational and strategic compliance to regulatory, service standards and best practices.

To plan and maintain a list of all compliance standards and activities, to coordinate with all stakeholders (IT and non-IT). 

To identify potential risks, and thereafter to define, develop, refine, and implement policies and procedures to uphold regulations and monitor adherence to the documented policies and procedures.

The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

To identify improvements and gaps in IT governance preferably with reference to COBIT 5, NIST and ITIL as guidance to improve IT Policies, SOP, guidelines etc.

Perform and manage review of internal documents on IT standards, policies, and procedures etc.

Manage responses and ensure compliance to internal and external regulatory requirements and inquiries.

To monitor, assist and ensure incidents, changes and problem management are well managed.

To prepare and respond to information and reporting requests or requirements for Management Meeting, Regional and BNM submission.

To coordinate and assist with tasks and activities related to internal and external auditors, regulators, risk management officers or other governance related.

Perform quality control on all audit and compliance matters.

Communicate, record, and monitor all audit requests, and gaps, including manage sessions with IT stakeholders for discussion and clarifications.

Report the result of any non-compliance findings to the immediate supervisor and/or Head of IT.

Job Specification:

• Degree in IT Information Security or Risk Management or other relevant field of studies / Diploma accepted, subject to working experience in Risk & Governance area.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Information Security, IT Infrastructure, IT Applications support or any related IT field required for this position. 
• Experience in secretarial and administrative is an additional advantage.
• Systematic and disciplined.
• Team player with good communication skills and committed to assigned tasks. 
• Able to work with minimum supervision and yet provide regular updates as necessary. 
• Able to prioritize workload effectively and deliver on ambitious timelines.
• Responsible and with integrity.
