Executive, Legal - Generous Compensation

Responsible for assisting the HOD of Legal in overseeing and administering the legal matters within Encorp Berhad and all subsidiary companies under the same group.

Key Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for the Group Legal Division under the following portfolio:

• Corporate and Commercial Contract
• Corporate Banking
• Construction Contract
• Group Litigation
• Industrial Relation
• Property and Conveyancing
• Mall and Leasing
• Facilities Management

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be confident in leading the business and steering the company to the most profitable position while implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals. The candidate must possess the requirements below:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Law, or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• At least 3 years of working experience in corporate and conveyancing in legal firms or PLC is required for this position.
• Familiar with HDA, Companies Act, and all laws and regulations in the Property Industry.
• Experience in construction law/contract including the Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (“PAM”) contract and/or, Government of Malaysia’s contract, Pre-Qualification and Tender Bidding process, Project Management Agreement, Consortium Agreement, and Concession Agreement and another construction-related contract.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills - PC literate
• Preferably Executives specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
