Functional (job responsibilities)

• Coordinate logistics for overall corporate events and activities.

• Assist in drafting content such as press releases, media invites, and briefing notes for review.

• Assist in managing media requests and maintaining an updated media database to support campaign initiatives.

• Assist in management of CSR activities and related administration matters

• Conduct initial reviews of donation and sponsorship requests to ensure they align with corporate values.

• Coordinate with the Hong Leong Foundation on the ground-level execution of community initiatives and charitable projects.

• Maintain and update internal platforms (intranet/newsletters) with relevant and timely content.

• Ensure all communication materials comply with established Policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines

• Process payments and billings against vendors’ invoices and ensure completion of all necessary documentation before submission for payment.

• Orders offices supplies, repair services, plaques and awards; tracks and picks up orders.

• Custodian of Group branding and communication elements, including but not limited to softcopies of logo files and marketing communications materials

• Assist in premium management, including sourcing, tender and purchase, stock inventories and process purchase requisition from end users

• Manage daily news monitoring and send news alert of HL Group and HLBB’s senior management staff

Education/Qualification

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communications, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3–5 years in a Corporate Communication or PR role

• Strong writing and editing skills; proficiency in social media management and event coordination.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors

• Adjusts rapidly to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles during event execution.

• Consistently meets deadlines and complies with quality standards for all deliverables.
