Responsible in keeping accurate records for the business daily transaction, preparing balance sheets, and processing invoices. Administering accounting operations and overseeing the financial transactions of the Company to meet legal requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist with all Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) / Record to Report (R2R) related activities as assigned.
· Maintain databases accuracy and perform updates to ensure accuracy.
· Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout.
· Review and update process flow on accounting standard operating procedures (SOP).
· Accounting data retention and management through proper documentation and accounting workpapers processes.
· Conduct risk analysis and to provide risk mitigation recommendations.
· Support Head of Finance in annual financial planning process for developing quality financial data provision with various departments.
· Assist with year-end audit planning and liaison with auditors and/or regulatory authorities.
· Perform any other related lawful duties that may be given by the management from time to time.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or in a related discipline.
· Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting or finance role, and preferably in the payment or financial services industry.
· Well verse in Microsoft Office application – especially Microsoft Excel.
· Good knowledge of Xero accounting software.
· Strong ability in complex problem-solving skill.
· Good interpersonal skill.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across borders and cultures.
· Ability to work independently, possess good process management skills and result oriented.
· Strong verbal and written communication in English.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to co-workers.
· Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
· General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, processes, and information flow.
· Meticulous in managing work processes.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
· Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
