Executive Officer, GT-TBS, GWB Application Delivery SpeedSend MY (Full Stack Developer)

Job Purpose *

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in Angular and NestJS (or similar technologies) to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will contribute to both frontend and backend development, perform defect resolution, implement system enhancements, and actively participate in Agile sprint cycles. Ensure application responsiveness and compatibility across desktop and mobile devices. The role requires collaboration with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure high-quality and timely software delivery.

Key Responsibilities  *

•    Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular.

•    Build and enhance backend services using NestJS or similar frameworks.

•    Design and implement RESTful APIs.

•    Work with MySQL database including writing optimized queries and managing schema updates.

•    Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

•    Optimize frontend performance for mobile environments.

•    Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects.

•    Implement new features and system enhancements as per business requirements.

•    Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

•    Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.

•    Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

•    Collaborate with QA teams for testing and validation.

•    Work with existing CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment processes.

•    Provide support for production issues when required.

•    Contribute to performance improvements and system scalability initiatives.

•    Builds and maintains positive working relationships with various IT and business teams

•    Ensure process compliance in all operations, participate in regular audit exercises.

Any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Specification *

Qualifications 

(Basic Degree/Diploma etc)    University Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent

Relevant Work Experience     Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack development.

Required Competencies and Skills *

    •    Hands-on experience with Angular.

•    Experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks (e.g., Express.js).

•    Experience in building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.

•    Familiarity with CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind) or responsive design principles.

•    Strong understanding of SOAP/REST API development.

•    Experience working with MySQL database.

•    Good understanding of Git version control.

•    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

•    Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

•    Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred / Plus Skills

•    Docker build knowledge.

•    Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

•    Knowledge of microservices architecture.

•    Experience with unit testing frameworks.

•    Understanding of application security best practices.

•    Experience working in sprint-based delivery environments.
