Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Execute the procurement operational and purchasing activities. Accountable in ensuring compliance to the procurement policies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / INDVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies

• Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with vendors

• Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on pending orders

• Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and documentation

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/production teams to avoid shortages

• Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities

• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns

• Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
