Executive, Procurement - Urgent

Job Responsibilities:

• Deploy the Company’s procurement activities based on established product specifications and business needs.
• Establish working-level relationships with the Company’s network and external vendors for optimal procurement transactions.
• Perform daily operational procurement activities and coordinate shipment, documentation, logistics, and scheduled matters.
• Manage approved vendors and ensure that suppliers database are well maintained and up-to-date.
• Plan or arrange the transport for the collection/transfer of spares/stores to the respective ships according to the information provided by the Superintendents.
• Establish and develop strong working relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and provide excellent service to internal customers.
• Work closely with suppliers and responsible for clarifying and negotiating with vendors on contractual terms, pricing and service level to meet the business needs.
• Review and manage all procurement documents and ensure accuracy and completeness in accordance to Procurement policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including ethical conduct and financial controls.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Marine / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years procurement experience in the Marine Industry
• Tele data knowledge and previous experience in ship management will be an added advantage
• Possess good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• A team player with sense of priority, organized and meticulous
• Positive attitude, self-driven, proactive, able to work independently and hardworking
• Have an excellent command of English, both written and verbal, and a flair for IT
