Penerangan Pekerjaan - Executive, Public Relations & Marketing

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Assist in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to support business growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the hospital’s catchment area while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Engage with corporate client segments especially in private sectors, industrial areas, government agencies, statutory body, GLC and insurance agency to secure partnerships, panel registrations, and referral programs.
  • Collect and report pricing feedback from field activities to assist management in pricing adjustments.
  • Conduct market intelligence surveys periodically to analyze competitor offerings and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly sales and activity reports for management.

2) Corporate Client & Industrial Area (Enhanced Focus)

  • Develop, service, and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and organizations within industrial zones, ensuring consistent engagement, high satisfaction levels, and regular communication on hospital services.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all corporate accounts, ensuring smooth coordination, efficient onboarding, and responsive support for corporate healthcare needs.
  • Coordinate with corporate partners on service requirements, panel arrangements (corporate-only), employee healthcare needs, wellness activities, and operational guidelines.
  • Provide comprehensive support to corporate clients regarding admission protocols, service processes, corporate entitlements, and coordination of any corporate healthcare programmes.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service Experience team to address, escalate, and resolve issues raised by corporate and industrial clients promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain continuous engagement and relationship‑building efforts to foster strong long-term loyalty, support business continuity, and expand corporate healthcare partnerships within industrial areas.

3) Specialist Doctor Management

  • Conduct regular visits to Specialists to share updates on services, promotions, and events.
  • Understand needs and challenges faced by Specialists to drive improvements and referral growth.
  • Assist in resolving concerns and complaints raised by Specialists through coordination with relevant hospital departments.
  • Support efforts to build and sustain a loyal referral network.
  • Communicate protocol updates to relevant service counters and consultant clinics.

4) Marketing, Branding & Events

  • Support planning and execution of events, corporate roadshows, community wellness programs, and exhibitions.
  • Assist in organizing Corporate Health Talk, and corporate wellness programs for client.
  • Work closely with Corporate Communications and internal departments to ensure consistent and effective branding.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and digital content aligned with KPJ brand guidelines.

5) Service Enhancement & Market Competitiveness

  • Assist in introducing and enhancing hospital services based on market insights and client expectations.
  • Provide field-based feedback to support continuous improvement and maintain regional competitiveness.

6) Administration, Reporting & Professional Conduct

  • Maintain accurate update and documentation of sales activities, client records, and business interactions.
  • Prepare structured reports, presentations, and performance summaries for management review.
  • Participate in departmental and hospital quality indicator initiatives.
  • Maintain professional grooming standards in line with company requirements.
  • Uphold strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in all engagements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.

7) Cross‑Segment Support & Collaboration (Corporate & Industrial Area Focus)

  • Assist other business units when required, while keeping Corporate and Industrial Area priorities at the core of daily responsibilities.
  • Execute cross‑segment activities, projects, and operational tasks as instructed by the Head of Business Growth & Marketing, with emphasis on strengthening corporate relationships and service delivery.
  • Ensure all efforts — particularly those involving corporate client engagement, service coordination, and relationship management — align with the hospital’s overall business growth priorities and strategic direction.

9. Compliance, Guidance & Instruction

  • Follow all instructions, directives, and priorities set by the Head of Business Growth & Marketing.
  • Ensure all digital activities adhere to KPJ branding guidelines, patient confidentiality requirements, and corporate standards.
  • Support the implementation of new strategies, policies, and digital initiatives as directed by leadership.

REQUIREMENT

Academic Qualification & Skills, Experience Required

  • Minimum: Degree in marketing, Business Studies/Management, Mass Communication, or any related discipline.
  • Minimum: At least 3 years working experience, preferably in healthcare setting/environment.

Other Additional Requirement:

  • Strong analytical skills, creative, innovative and possess a strong commitment to excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of people.
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Mobile and willing to travel.
  • Pleasant, aggressive and outgoing personality.
  • Strong collaborative skills and customer focus.
  • Computer literate.
  • Experience in Graphic Design will be also appreciated.
  • A team player with a high level of confidence, drive and motivation.
  • A high degree of resourcefulness, integrity and independent judgment.
