Executive - Risk Management & Compliance (Insurance Management- Investigation & Claims Management)

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To manage insurance claims and investigation including risk management activities.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Proper upkeep and management of claim database/files.


• Provide faster turnaround time for insurance claims settlement.


• To participate on incident/claims investigation.


• To participate with risk engineering surveys including follow-up on its recommendations.


• To participate with infrared thermography surveys including follow-up on its recommendations.


• Monitor the implementation of the Red Tag and Hot Work Permit to five international airports.


• To assist in conducting Risk Management and Insurance awareness training.


• To support other initiatives under Risk Management Division such as BCM and Risk Management.

Key Challenges

• Multi-tasking which may divert focus from time to time.


• To achieve 100% planned implementation with constraint in manpower, time and financial resources.


• Mindset / attitude /cultural challenges from target group in implementation of the Risk Management initiatives.


• Target group have too many initiatives to commit to Risk Management activities.

Skills

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Possess positive attitude, self-driven and hardworking.


• Result oriented personnel.


• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the claims and process including its applications under Risk Management and Insurance

Education

Degree preferably with specialization in risk management / Insurance / OSH.

Relevant Industries

• Degree holder and minimum 1 year relevant experience.

Unique Requirements

• Certification in Risk Mangemnet (e.g. ICRM. AMII)
