Executive, Students Affairs and Alumni - Collaborative Environment

• To manage the international student pass application via the Education Malaysia Global Service (EMGS).
• To provide support for the wellbeing of international students during their time of study at AeU.
• To provide arrival orientation and guidance to ease the transition of the international students into AeU.

• To provide advice to the international students & recruitment agents on student pass processes, which include new applications, endorsements, transfers of endorsement, variations, extensions/renewals, cancellations.
• To update the international students & recruitment agents about the developments and issues related to student pass, and also the requirements for international students as specified by the EMGS and MOE.
• To inform the relevant students about the student pass expiry dates, ensure that students submit the required documents for extension/renewal on time in order prevent overstay.
• To process the student pass application via the EMGS, which include monitoring of student pass/medical insurance expiry dates, and approval status pass applications and medical check-ups.
•  Safe-keeping and recording of passports and payments for student pass processing.
• To monitor the international student attendance and submitting relevant reports in accordance with the requirements of the EMGS.
• To develop database for the recording of international student pass information.
• To build good relationship with external and internal stakeholders such as the EMGS, recruitment agents, and as well as staff of other departments at AeU.
• To provide the airport pick-up service for new international students arriving in Malaysia and arrange transports for student to get to their accommodation.
• To provide induction and arrival orientation to the international students.
• To work with the programme coordinators to arrange the industry training for the international students where applicable.
• To provide support the students & alumni activities.
• To prepare quarterly data report to MOE on the international student status.
• To provide service for the attestation of academic documents.
• To update the Alumni database from time to time.
• To assist for the tracer studies, student feedback & other relevant studies.
• To perform any other tasks and duties as assigned by the HOD.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in management, or related field. CPA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of experience dealing with EMGS, Student Visa, MOHE, MOFA
• Good communication and writing skill in English
• Good interpersonal and working attitude
• Excellent time and stress management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
